Our Story

Harmony Home Candle Co. began with two passions that eventually came together to create something special.

Pam discovered a love for candle making and set out to master the craft. While working a full-time job, she spent countless evenings and weekends learning everything she could about the art and science of creating exceptional candles. Through research, experimentation, and determination, she refined every aspect of the process—from wax blends and fragrance combinations to wick selection, pouring techniques, and burn performance.

From the very beginning, one principle guided every decision: quality comes first. Pam chose a natural soy-coconut wax blend and carefully selected fragrance oils because she believed that what goes into a candle is just as important as how beautiful it looks.

At around the same time, Luis retired after a 30-year career as a software engineer. Looking for a new creative challenge, he explored several hobbies before discovering laser engraving. One day, he engraved a candle jar simply to see what it would look like—and that single experiment sparked an idea.

Together, Pam and Luis realized they could combine handcrafted candles with custom laser-engraved jars to create products that were both beautiful and uniquely personal. What started as two independent hobbies quickly grew into Harmony Home Candle Co.

Today, every candle is still handcrafted with the same commitment to quality and attention to detail that inspired the company from the beginning. Our engraved candle jars are designed in-house, creating gifts that celebrate life’s special moments and become keepsakes long after the candle has been enjoyed.

As the business has grown, so has our desire to share the joy of candle making with others. Through our candle-making workshops and walk-in candle-pouring sessions, guests can experience the creativity and satisfaction of making their own candles while spending quality time with family and friends. Whether it’s your first candle or your fiftieth, we love helping others discover a hobby that has brought us so much joy.
