Choose the Candle-Pouring Experience That Works for You

The candle-making portion of each experience is essentially the same. You’ll choose a candle jar from our shelves, learn about our fragrances and fragrance notes, explore fragrance combinations, and receive guidance throughout the pouring process, including mixing, temperatures, and the other steps involved in making your candle.

After pouring, your candle needs time to set. You can pick it up the following day, or we can mail it to you for a small additional fee.

Walk-In Pouring

Our Walk-In Pouring is the most casual and flexible option. Simply stop by the store during available hours and make a candle—no advance registration is required.

The store remains open to other customers while you’re pouring, making this a great choice for individuals, couples, or small groups who would like to enjoy the candle-making experience without attending a scheduled event.

Candle-Making Workshops

Our Candle-Making Workshops are scheduled Harmony Home Candle Co. events, and participants sign up in advance through our website.

These workshops are designed to be a fun, social experience centered entirely around making your own candle. Participants don’t necessarily know one another when they arrive, but everyone shares the candle-making experience together.

During the workshop, the store is closed to the general public, participants are welcome to bring a bottle of wine, and we typically include a fun activity such as trivia.

It’s a great way to enjoy an evening out, meet new people, and spend some relaxed, creative time making a candle of your own.

Candle + Craft Workshops

Our Candle + Craft Workshops combine candle-making with another creative activity led by one of our guest makers.

During these special collaborative workshops, you’ll spend part of the event making your candle with Harmony Home Candle Co. and the other part creating something different with another local crafter or artist.

For example, one workshop might combine candle-making with decorating a resin wine glass, while another may feature an entirely different craft.

Because these workshops include two separate creative experiences, the activities—and the pricing—will vary depending on the featured craft.

Like our Candle-Making Workshops, these events are scheduled in advance, and participants register through our website. The store is closed to the general public during the event, creating a relaxed and social setting for everyone attending.

If you enjoy trying new crafts or would like to experience two creative activities in one outing, a Candle + Craft Workshop is a great choice.

Private Workshops & Parties

Looking for an experience just for your own group? We also offer Private Workshops and Parties.

Instead of choosing from one of our scheduled workshop dates, the organizer works with us to select a date and time that works for both the group and Harmony Home Candle Co.

Unlike our scheduled Candle-Making and Candle + Craft Workshops, where participants may not know one another, a private workshop is reserved exclusively for the organizer and their invited guests.

This makes it a great option for birthdays, family gatherings, friends’ nights out, bridal parties, team events, or simply getting a group together for something fun and different.

To keep the experience comfortable and make sure everyone receives plenty of hands-on guidance, private groups are generally limited to fewer than 18 participants. This also helps us maintain a good instructor-to-participant ratio throughout the candle-making process.

You’ll enjoy the same guided candle-making experience and relaxed workshop atmosphere, but the event—and the store—is just for your group.
